Welcome on Ameland
It is very nice to ride a bike and to hike on Ameland. Ameland has the most beautiful beaches of all Wadden Islands and it is very quiet there. This beautiful Wadden Island is the perfect destination for families with children. The children will really have a good time on this island!
On the campsite there are a recreation area, a playground, a snackbar, a laundrette and a mini market for the daily news paper and the delicious fresh rolls for breakfast.
You can use the swimming pool “De Schalken” for free. The swimming pool is open from May till September.
Beautiful Ameland is situated only 45 minutes sailing from Holwerd.
While the ferry is sailing, your holiday begins.
